Our hikes on the Bruce Trail, Ontario, Canada
The Bruce Trail runs the length of the Niagara Escarpment (one of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserves in Canada, and home to Niagara Falls) in southern Ontario, Canada.
We've hiked (and in one case biked) the following sections of the trail.
Along the way we've hiked past lots of waterfalls, around a few lakes, crossed many rivers and rapids,
stopped to admire many beautiful views,
admired the rockface of the Niagara Escarpment, even seen a few potholes.
Unfortunately we've also crossed many busy roads, heard the trucks in a quary, and had a wonderful walk through deep green
forests spoiled by a golf course.
After every hike, however, we're reminded of how much work has gone into creating and maintaining such a wonderful trail.
I've also put together a map of our hikes.
